Center faculty member Nicole Iannarone is the newest president of the Atlanta Bar Association. In keeping with the association's motto, Lawyers Who Serve, Iannarone invited center faculty director Lauren Sudeall Lucas to be the keynote speaker at the association's annual Celebrating Service event on Friday, Oct. 19.
Iannarone, associate clinical professor, is director of Georgia State Law's Investor Advocacy Clinic, where she helps law students represent small investors who were harmed by broker misconduct. The clinic provides free legal services to people whose losses are too small for a private attorney.
On Wednesday, June 13, Georgia State Law will host the Securities and Exchange Commission's Investor Town Hall, where the SEC's commissioners will travel from Washington, D.C. to meet with investors of all levels. For more information >>
