The waitlist period remains open for Fundamentals of Law Practice (LAW7336). Students on the waitlist may be admitted to the course in the event that an accepted student (1) cannot take the course or (2) instructors decide to take additional students.
The course, co-taught by Professors Kate Gaffney and Tiffany Roberts, provides students with an opportunity to litigate on behalf of domestic violence survivors seeking protective orders in Cobb County Superior Court and also conduct fieldwork with an accomplished solo or small firm attorney. The classroom component focuses on critical issues for practitioners including but not limited to professionalism, accounting, fees, marketing, self-care and fact investigation. Priority will be given to students who apply by April 5.
