Students in the Olmstead Disability Rights Clinic work with lawyers in the Decatur office of Atlanta Legal Aid to advocate for children and adults with disabilities who are seeking community-based services so they can live in their own homes instead of institutions. Our work is based on the landmark 1999 U.S. Supreme Court case Olmstead v. L.C. and E.W., which was brought by Atlanta Legal Aid lawyers.
