Easier access, especially for mobile devices.

The old CatChat wireless Internet access system suffered from the necessity of logging in via a web page, preventing automatic log in by mobile devices. The new CatChat 2X solves this issue. All modern devices can automatically log in to this new system, and you are seamlessly reconnected to other access points as you move around campus.

To automatically set up your device, visit IS&T's wireless page. Note that since your Campus ID is used for access, you will need to be familiar with the process of updating your password when it it expires (every 120 days). Also, if you have your device "remember" your login, you will need to reset your password if your device is lost or stolen.
