This web site is now running on a new server. Almost everything will function exactly as before, but there are a few changes due to the new increased security measures.
If you log into a site with the "pop-up" password window, you will need to reset your MyLaw password (it can be the same password if it fulfills the password complexity rules).
If you edit a web site with an external program such as DreamWeaver or Word, you will need a new version of the NetDrive program (the program that makes your web site into a drive letter). Submit a help desk ticket to get the new version. If you edit your web site from within a web browser (e.g. with Contentor), everything should work exactly as it did on the old web server.
For other problems, contact the web coordinator or submit a help desk ticket.
Technical details
For those interested in the technical reason, the MyLaw ID passwords are stored on our system as one-way hashes. The old system utilized a lower-security hash (MD5), whereas the new server set-up uses a much more secure hash (Digest). Since there is no practical way for us retrive your original password, we cannot generate the new, more secure hash.
