College of Law Technology Services is offering six Laptops 101 sessions in the next week.
These sessions are designed for new students who have not attended orientation, or students who have recently purchased a laptop and have not attended a previous Laptops 101 or Securexam Laptop Exam Software Installfest session.
These are special sessions which will cover installation of the following:
- Symantec Anti-Virus software
- GSU Wireless Network software
- Proventia Desktop Protector (Firewall and intrusion prevention software)
- PantherPrint software, which allows you to print to the Law Library Alcove and Lab printers at a cost of 5 cents a page
You can also receive assistance with the following:
- Reset your University network and/or e-mail password
- Create, change or reset your College of Law MyLaw ID
- Register your e-mail address with College of Law E-mail Updater system
IMPORTANT NOTE: Securexam laptop exam software will NOT be installed at these sessions, so pre-registration is not required. Securexam Installfest sessions will be held later in the semester when it is time to register for exams that are offered with a laptop option.
