What document formats are accepted online?
The preferred format for nomination letters and supporting documentation is PDF.
When is the nomination deadline?
The deadline is at 11:59 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6.
What additional documentation can be submitted?
Relevant supporting information could be the nominee's resume, news accounts of his or her public service or supporting letters describing his or her public service.
Are there any word counts for the nomination materials?
The nomination letter should be no more than 2,500 words. Any additional supporting materials should not exceed 20 pages total.
Is it possible to mail the nomination instead of submitting it online?
Yes, nomination letters and supporting materials may be mailed to:

Is it possible to email the nomination letter and any supporting documentation instead of using the document dropbox?
Yes, you may email the letter and any supporting documentation to: award@gsulaw.net. We kindly request that you complete the online form and note that complete documentation is being e-mailed separately.
If I wish to submit additional information to support a submitted nomination, what do I do?
You may send any additional supporting materials by Friday, Dec. 6, to award@gsulaw.net with a descriptive subject line, such as "Additional documentation: John Smith nomination," or by mail to the above address.
Who are the members of the 2014 Award Selection committee?
The 2014 Award Committee Chair is Clark D. Cunningham, W. Lee Burge Professor of Law and Ethics. Other committee members are: Linda DiSantis (J.D. '88); Ramsey Knowles (J.D. '05); Ben Johnson III; and Professors Cassady V. Brewer, Sylvia Caley (J.D. '89), Paul Milich, Charity Scott and Tanya Washington.
