GSU College of Law among Princeton Review’s 2013 Best Law Schools
ATLANTA - Georgia State University College of Law has been included in The Princeton Review’s 2013 edition of The Best 168 Law Schools.
"We chose the schools based on our high regard for their academic programs and our reviews of institutional data we collect from the schools,said Robert Franck, Princeton Review senior vice president publisher. “We also solicit and greatly respect the opinions of students attending these schools who rate and report on their experiences at them on our 80-question student survey for the book."
The Princeton Review's survey asks law students about their schools’ academics, student body and campus life as well as about themselves and their career plans.
“We greatly value The Princeton Review guide in particular because it reflects our student feedback on their time at GSU Law," Dean Steven J. Kaminshine says. “We are gratified that they find that experience to be positive, informative and enriching."
"The Best 168 Law Schools: 2013 Edition" has two-page profiles of the schools with write-ups on their academics, student life and admissions, plus ratings for their academics, selectivity and career placement services.
The Princeton Review does not rank the law schools in the book on a single hierarchical list from 1 to 168, or name one law school best overall. Instead, the book has 11 ranking lists of the top 10 law schools in various categories. Student surveys were completed online during the 2011-2012, 2010-2011 and 2009-2010 academic years.
