Vic Reynolds '86 elected Cobb County DA
Attorney Vic Reynolds ’86 of Marietta was elected Cobb County district attorney on July 31. He will replace retiring DA Pat Head.
Reynolds ran against fellow Republican Cindi Yeager of Marietta in the GOP primary. Because there is no Democratic candidate in the general election, Reynolds will take office in January.
Reynolds, a well-known defense attorney, represented convicted antifreeze murderer Lynn Turner. He previously served as Cobb County's chief magistrate judge from 1994 to 1999. He worked as a police officer and served several years as an assistant district attorney in Fulton and Cobb counties.
As a student, he was active in GSU Law's Student Trial Lawyers Association, the Mock Trial organization.
