The Center for Law, Health & Society is currently seeking nominations for the annual Student Health Law Award. This award is granted to the student who demonstrates outstanding achievement in the area of health law.

Criteria:
The Health Law Award is based on student performance across a range of criteria including: academic performance in health law courses; outstanding writing in health law; and experiential learning (e.g. participation in clinics, externships, etc.) in the area of health law; as well as demonstrated commitment to health law through activities such as student organization leadership, health law related moot court participation, and other activities. Nominations are welcome from any faculty or students.

Scholarship/Award:
A monetary award will be given to the student selected for this award.

How to Apply:
Nominations should be submitted in Word document form to Professor Charity Scott at cscott@gsu.edu. Self-nominations and nominations by others are accepted. Nominations should address how the nominee meets or exceeds the criteria required for this award.

ALL NOMINATIONS ARE DUE BY FEBRUARY 25, 2011.
