Committee on Human Subject Protections Report
June 15, 2004
In June 2003, GSU Provost Ron Henry appointed a Blue Ribbon Committee to establish a working and efficient system for the protection of human subjects at GSU that would assure compliance with federal regulations and foster educational programs across the campus related to legal compliance and research integrity. The Committee’s charge reflected that a culture of research integrity throughout the University is essential to achieving responsible conduct in research and compliance with federal regulations. The Committee included faculty members from every College at the University. The Committee issued its final report and recommendations in October 2003, and continued oversight and assistance in implementation throughout the academic year. Charity Scott served as Chair of the Committee. For more information, please click here.
