2005 Law Review Symposium
January 24, 2005
The Next Generation of ADR and Conflict Management in Health Care Settings:
New Challenges, New Approaches
February 15, 2005
8:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Located at the Georgia State University Student Center
Presented in Conjunction with the GSU Center for Law, Health & Society
Health care conflict resolution is one of the biggest challenges facing the legal and medical professions today. Above the din of the debate over tort reform and plaintiffs' rights, other voices are calling for a different kind of reform: changing the ways we deal with conflict from the outset, before litigation becomes the only alternative.
Our distinguished panel of experts will present a lively discussion of current challenges and new approaches in resolving conflicts in health care settings. Scroll down or click here to view the agenda for the symposium, and here to learn more about our speakers.
ADMISSION IS FREE.
Admission is open to the public and, unless you wish to receive CLE credit (see below), there is no charge to attend the symposium. Reservations are not required, but are appreciated. Please let us know if you will join us by clicking here or sending an e-mail to symposiumRSVP@gmail.com.
CLE CREDIT IS AVAILABLE.
The Georgia Commission on Continuing Lawyer Competency has approved the symposium for 6 hours of continuing legal education credit. Advance registration is not required, but you must bring your Georgia Bar Number and pay $50 at the door (cash or check only). This covers the cost to offer CLE credit, as well as the cost of the Symposium volume of the Georgia State University Law Review, which will be mailed to CLE attendees following its publication.
