Students invited to special sitting of U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit

ATLANTA -- Georgia State University College of Law students are invited to a special sitting of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Tuesday, November 2, at 2 p.m. at the Supreme Court of Georgia, 244 Washington Street, in downtown Atlanta.
This event is hosted by the Supreme Court of Georgia and Georgia State University College of Law. Seating is limited, so attendees should RSVP no later than 5 p.m. on October 22 to Bernitta Harris at bharris@gsu.edu. A photo identification is required for everyone who intends to attend the hearing, which is free and open to the public.
- Court protocol also requires everyone who attends the hearings to submit to a security check before entering the Supreme Court of Georgia. Please anticipate a line and arrive early.
- The Guidelines for Courtroom Decorum, which can be found on the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit website, will be strictly enforced.
- A reception in honor of the Court will follow at the conclusion of the session.
- NOTE: These arguments will be held in the Courtroom of the Supreme Court of Georgia NOT at the College of Law.
