ATLANTA—This Friday, February 12, is the last day to purchase tickets for the 18th Annual Public Interest Law Association (P.I.L.A.) Charity Auction. The auction will be held at the Atlanta Freight Depot on Saturday, February 20.

This year's auction theme is "Lights, Camera, Auction," and will include catered dinner, access to silent and live auctions, as well as special live performances by law school faculty. Up for auction are various exotic vacation rentals in Hilton Head Island, S.C., St. Simons Island, Ga., and Cape San Blas, Fla.; AirTran Airways tickets; and, for the 1L looking for a home away from home, a private study room in the law library for the remainder of spring semester.

Other auction items include opportunities to rub elbows with Georgia State University College of Law's very own celebrities, the faculty, such as an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament  for eight players against Professors Lisa Bliss and Jonathan Todres followed by beer and pizza; a pistol, rifle and shotgun outing with Professor Lynn Hogue for two guests; lunch for four at a restaurant of one's choice with Professor Wendy Hensel, as well as other exciting and unique items.

Don't miss the opportunity to get to know your instructors and fellow students better while also supporting a worthy cause. All of the money raised by the auction will provide stipends Georgia State Law students interning in public interest areas.
