SITE DESCRIPTION
Students work for Judge Dillard under the direct supervision of Judge Dillard and his staff attorneys. Students will perform legal research, analysis, and writing. Most students will have an opportunity to attend oral argument and will gain a better understanding of the Georgia appellate process.
STUDENT QUALIFICATIONS
Prerequisites: None
Preferences: Third-year students, but will consider second-year students with superior research and writing skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- A brief writing sample is required at the time of application.
- Students are encouraged to attend the Court's oral argument sessions during their externship. Students should check the Court's upcoming oral argument schedule to ensure ability to attend.
